Statement by President Bush on Terri Schiavo

The case of Terri Schiavo raises complex issues. Yet in instances like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial doubts, our society, our laws, and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life. Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life, where all Americans are valued, welcomed, and protected and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities.

In terms of beggars,
that would include all disabled.

Terri now on the top in news senate/house religious,
we watch each man and woman
give their very strong opinions of every kind
for now as always being those of opposing minds.

From the Senate they pretty much kept quiet,
but by the house, a lot of Party Noise.

One pleading compassion, the other Law

The Law siders asked
why pay interest now to the poor
Africana and Woman too...
thinking single cell units
were closer to truth.

A Law sider Congressman with 30 years
Pasturing his church
shouting shame at the Party other's recent past

A Law sider Africana woman talks about
the Family's conflicted liberty right
to decide death of another outside the community mind.

a picture of Terri smiling...
Neuro-Psych people... place stand in

I'll take care of her
my daughter and me
we both life time experienced
words and actions
while outside distractions

she now very literate with 70 IQ tested
labors in a nursing home as comfort counselor
bingo numbers... afternoon snacks... movie choices...

she the neurologically impaired
sees two sisters grow up on our shared childhood Disney

how modest and pure her kind
as if dreaming while in conscious mind

Neither of us afraid of death
nor the smell of it
for both of us have had our lovers die

yet we still sing in our hearts every day
with this pension planned long ago Government
the both of us can dance

so I sing to you a love song
true Quakers will agree
for now we all are the hotel keepers
this time again a manger...
the manger is we

animals and cowboys saw the innocence

I've taken her into my heart so many times past
What now keeps us...

Not one of you... not one...
I have found more faith
in that prodigal son
Hagar's children miss named ones

stone
