We need more men like this

"I will not vote for any politician who will promote abortion or the culture of death, no matter how appealing the rest of his or her program might be. They are wolves in sheep’s garments, the K.K.K. without the sheets."

If I were ever tempted to vote for simply selfish reasons, tribal allegiances, or economic advantages rather than on the moral direction of the country, I should beat a hasty retreat from the curtain of the polling booth to the curtain of the confessional."

-Archbishop Sean O'Malley

Heh, the quote is so rife with inconsistencies that it nearly perfectly mirrors the cardboard box platform of the compassionate right. If the 'compassionate' conservatives cared so much about not sucking out babies from wombs, or not support embryonic stem cell research for lines after 2001, then why not broaden it to include more preventable killings? Guns good, invitro killings good, death penalty necessary, trading with countries 'promoting' abortion good, reducing environmental pollution controls good,etc.. Hehe, some who read, 'We need more men like this', would see that Bush is their perfect archetype. I appreciated Reagan's staunch stand on rejecting Aids research in the 80's as well- he sure got that right!
