Liberal media claim Catholics allowed pro-abortion vote

The Washington Post, Detroit Free Press, and New York Times, and others have published misleading articles concerning Cardinal Ratzinger "proportionate reasons" memo and the AP interview of Archbishop Burke in which he is misrepresented as softening his stance on pro-abortion politicians. The media will do all it can to muddle this for Catholics.

But do not be fooled. As I have posted before, concerning the presidential election, there are no proportionate reasons "to justify favoring the taking of an innocent, defenseless human life". None. LifeSite has a good defense of Archbishop Burke and what was really said in his interview. As well, I would point our readers to this article to better understand what "proportionate reasons" are and how there are none when it come to Catholics justifying a vote for Senator Kerry.
