Why this election matters

From extreme Catholic:

There are two reasons why this election matters in a way that all the elections that I have had the opportunity to vote in starting with Nixon in 1972 (8 elections!) have not.

Presidential (i.e. executive branch) power matters in two big ways:

- War. Kerry would be a second George McClellan and take a cheap dishonorable peace that would leave the United States at risk as it was before 9/11.
- Judicial Tyranny. Some members of this court will be called back to God eventually and if history is any guide, it will be in the next four years. Kerry would increase the pro-Roe pro-tyranny number of votes. We're going to make the executive and legislative branches irrelevant figureheads if the current trend is not reversed.

Things that would matter greatly in other elections: social security, medicare, taxes, out-sourcing take a back seat to this.

Couldn't agree more.

I just finished reading a great book about the real truth behind the CIA, the BUSH/CHENEY, and Tony Blair cover ups. It's called CRIMES OF THE RIGHT by the best selling author HOPE NEWMAN. She also wrote THE BIG BROTHER last year. Anyway, its ISBN is: 0-595-66574-8, and is available from: Amazon.com, barnesandnobel.com, Borders.com.
It is an awesome, suspenseful, and action-packed book. I know you'll love it

AMAZING SIMPLY FABULOUS
Hope Newman’s book, ‘CRIMES OF THE RIGHT’ is superb. Her ability to weave a tapestry of near-real events to this thriller is amazing. This book is as good as a fiction gets with the accuracy of a non-fiction. Hope Newman never ceases to amaze me, especially in Crimes of the Right...blazing fast edge your seat nerve racking and intelligent plot, is filled with extremely witty humor that will have your neurons firing at full blast. The book is extremely well researched as usual when it comes to Newman. You learn the most interesting and just plain cool facts about our government and the mindset of politicians who claim to serve us...it really made me think. The perspective this book gives the reader is completely fresh and riveting. After this book I immediately read Hope Newman’s THE BIG BROTHER, which is another book that blew my mind. You won't find this kind of perspective on the history channel.

Holy Crap This Is Good!
Wow, CRIMES OF THE RIGHT was so good. It had a huge amount of action and suspense packed into it, it was incredibly intriguing, it was incredibly realistic, it had a very satisfying ending, AND Newman still somehow gets her political views out through the characters. How does she do it? I don't know, but what I do know is that you should read this book.

Surprisingly Realistic
This was an awesome, suspenseful, and action-packed book. Due to recent events it may be more realistic than anyone would care to believe. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful thriller.

Excellent!!!
This is arguably one of the best novels I've ever read. I started reading THE BIG BROTHER, by Hope Newman. After that, I became engrossed in reading CRIMES OF THE RIGHT. In my opinion, this is one of NEWMAN’s best novels for one reason: it doesn't drone on and on about technical jargon that doesn't contribute to the plotline. For the most part, it's written in a fairly understandable context and its short for how she likes to write. It's very good and I recommend it to anyone who has some time to read a good book.
