Sure, by telling them that their support of the Bush administration's prohibition of federal funding to abortions was a "rigid ideological restriction." Smooth talker, isn't he? -- I almost bought it. ;-)
One amazing point in this story. Bishop Pilla and the JCU president were prepared to appear a t a Kerry rally!!!!!!!
